DML was recently acquired by FLSmidth Minerals after doing independent business since 1977, and previously having been a part of the Galigher Company's ore testing facillities which date back to the 1930's. Areas of expertise include precious metals, base metals, and industrial minerals.
Our facilities include crushing, grinding (including ultra-fine grinding capabilities), gravity separation, hydrometallurgy (ambient and autoclave technology), column leaching, and flotation. Flotation equipment includes mechanical test cells from 50 gram to 15,000 gram capacity. Although we do not have pilot plant facilities, our laboratory has been involved with several pilot plants in recent years, usually as a cooperative effort between our laboratory and our clients.
Our laboratory also offers in-plant consultation services and plant auditing. These types of services have accounted for approximately 20% of our work in the past two years. Approximately 60% of our business in the past ten (10) years has been from foreign projects in Canada, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil, Central America, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Siberia, Mongolia, India, Indonesia, New Zealand, etc.
