FLSmidth Acquires Dawson Metallurgical Laboratories

FLSmidth Minerals announced today the acquisition of Dawson Metallurgical Laboratories based in Salt Lake City, USA.

This acquisition continues to leverage the "One Source, One Partner" brand position that FLSmidth Minerals has embraced by expanding the group's global process technology base and providing increased testing and in-plant consultation services to the minerals industry.

Dawson Metallurgical Laboratories has been an independent testing laboratory since 1977, offering a wide range of ore testing capabilities to the base metal, precious metal, and industrial minerals markets. Over 30 years of extensive experience has helped Dawson build a solid reputation in personalized testing services, in-plant consultations, process development, flowsheet layout, and plant design that has increased the efficiencies and reliability of a growing portfolio of installations throughout the world.

As a member of the global FLSmidth group, Dawson will in the future be operating under the name FLSmidth Dawson.
