Company Announcement to the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority No. 50-2008, 31 December 2008

FLSmidth Minerals is to provide detailed engineering and design, as well as manufacturing and delivery of equipment, including one SAG mill and three ball mills. The mills are some of the largest in the world. The SAG mill will grind over 3,500 tonnes of copper ore per hour at full production.

"This order for SAG and ball mills illustrates our strong position within milling equipment to the minerals industry where FLSmidth continues to receive large orders," Group Chief Executive Officer Jørgen Huno Rasmussen comments.

The contract will contribute beneficially to FLSmidth's earnings until the last equipment has been supplied in late 2011.
