The Quality System at FLSmidth Minerals Inc. was certified to ISO 9001 on 10 February 1995, with a current certificate expiry of 28 February 2010. The Quality System is audited internally by our trained internal auditing staff and semi-annually by our registrar, Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.
Supplier selection is based upon a vendor approval process which includes an ongoing evaluation of overall performance. Qualified personnel who are trained by FLSmidth Minerals perform source inspections.
The Corrective/Preventive Action System is designed to reconcile immediate concerns, prevent recurrence and anticipate problems before they occur, providing a comprehensive platform for continuous improvement.
