FLSmidth Minerals’ Next Generation of Fabrics
EIMCO filter media utilizes high thread count, micro-porous coating, and specialized filter media blends (co-polymerized Polyester / PTFE Teflon) to optimize most any application. (The use of these fabrics will increase media life, enhance cake release, throughput, resistance to blinding, increase filtrate clarity, and cake moisture content.)
High Temperature Fabrics
FLSmidth Minerals' heat-resistant fabrics are designed to have a high retention of fiber properties, and a high dimensional stability after exposure to high temperatures for a long duration. FLSmidth Minerals supplies Polypropylene, Polyester, Kevlar and other specialized high temperature fabrics.

Ultrasonic Welding
FLSmidth Minerals uses ultrasonic welding technologies to create an endless filter media belt, eliminating clipper seams and failure points. Vibrating, ultrasonic energy is transferred to the cloth as heat. The molten material from both surfaces flow together, solidifies and creates a spot weld on the fabric. The finished assembly is strong, clean and fast.
Heat-Bonded Welded Seams
Sewing needle holes and wear seams are eliminated using heat Sealing on Polypropylene and thermoplastic cloths.
Flowing Weld Barrelneck
The high-performance Flowing Weld Barrelneck from EIMCO Filter Media is currently improving filtration economics in many demanding applications worldwide. This unique construction is reducing maintenance time and increasing the operating efficiency of the filter press.
