Monitoring of Kiln refractory condition is crucial to effective production campaigns and operating costs. The ECS/CemScanner is an indispensible aid to the operation and optimization of metallurgical kilns.

ECS/CemScanner uses state-of-the-art infrared scanning technology to calculate refractory brick thickness (within a few millimeters accuracy) in real time, and identify and trend kiln shell heat losses. This information facilitates diagnosis of kiln condition and minimizes tire (riding ring) slip.
