FLSmidth Minerals supplies converters, anode furnaces, holding furnaces, and anode casting wheels for the nickel, copper, and platinum industries.

Over the years we have worked with the operators of our converters to optimize designs of converter mouth components and tuyere components. By so doing, we have achieved significantly better component performance with less downtime for maintenance and change outs.

We also supply cast and fabricated ladles, ladle tilters, and transfer cars as part of our core technology. We supply fabricated ladles in capacities up to 170 ton and cast ladles from 1.5 cubic meter capacity to 34 cubic meter capacity. Transfer cars models include ladle transfer cars, scrap transfer cars, hot metal transfer cars, tundish transfer cars and converter exchange cars. Finally we supply ladle tilters to the aluminum, ferro alloy, platinum, and steel industries.
